Who we are
A 100% volunteer-led community club
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic FC provides football opportunities for the community of Barnsley — whether you're playing, supporting or volunteering.
One of the oldest grassroots clubs in Barnsley, the Briggers celebrated 100 years in 2023. The first team has enjoyed over 40 consecutive years in the Northern Counties East League and now represents the town at Step 7 of the National League System, while also competing in the FA Vase.
Significant investment in our facilities means we can now offer the business community real opportunities to get involved. Year-on-year growth in match-day attendances, footfall around the ground and the thriving Briggers Bar all give ongoing visibility for any business that partners with us.

The "Your Name" Community Ticket Scheme

We're launching a Community Ticket Scheme giving various groups access to our First Team home games. Each match the sponsor invites a pre-determined number of attendees to the "Sponsor Name Community Ticket Scheme", showcased on a dedicated web page with a simple contact link and promoted weekly across our socials.
